The worst album covers

File under: "What were they thinking?" [:D]

Men At Work - Business As Usual
The Quick (UK) - On the Uptake (Must be seen to be believed!)
Depeche Mode - Speak and Spell (if this is considered art, shoot me)
Trees - Sleep Convention (brilliant album put off by a dorky cover)
Icehouse - Measure For Measure (US Version) (Iva's outfit and hairdo alone...)
Big Country - No Place Like Home (early 90's, yes, but truly awful)
EBN-OZN - Feeling Cavalier
INXS - Kick
Ministry - With Sympathy (bet Al hates this cover as well!)
Novo Combo - The Animation Generation (hey, look at us ... we're leaping out of a video game!)
OMD - The Pacific Age
Space Monkey - On the Beam
Thompson Twins - Into the Gap
The Vapors - Magnets (kinda clever illustration, pity it looks awful!)
Yello - Solid Pleasure (typical of Ralph Records, but...)
The Residents - The Commercial Album (funny, but cheesy to the core)
YMO - Solid State Survivor
Harlequin - Love Crimes (bad illustration like a lot of those home brew 80's metal album covers)
Buggles - Adventures in Modern Recording

I'm sure there's a ton more that I've forgotten in my collection.

"Decade" album cover by Duran Duran...ick ag, blech...what a mess--too many colors, tacky black scribbles, too much of everything. (yes, it was the 90's, but still...)

And I'd have to agree with the Business as Usual cover (which was one of my first N

Others that come to mind.

I don't give a rat's asse what Al Jourgensen thinks of his early work with Ministry, I think it's brilliant and love it as much if not more than the later industrialized Ministry. I believe that at some point Al will come to his senses and come to respect

PS. Mike P ---I wholeheartedly Disagree about the slight upon poor Depeches "Speak n Spell"---Dada art at it's best!
foud object with plastic wrap?----that has to beat Duran Duran's "Seven and the Ragged Tiger" (is there a worst title for album list?---
