I have another KROQ recording from late summer 1984. Unfortunately it is heavily edited and some of you may find it irritating to hear some songs and dj commentary abruptly cut.

Yes, I have many other recordings of KROQ. This one is 90 minutes with very little editing. Only some commercials are removed. It's the the end of Jed the fish's shift straight into Dusty Street from April 29th, 1987.

I'm glad to see these airchecks making their way out there. I have some KROQ of my own, and some 91X, Live 105, WLIR/WDRE, WFNX, WHFS, KJET, KCGL, KJQN, etc. Most radio and tape geeks recorded Top 40 radio back then, primarily because of the personalities and jingles (which really hadn't changed since the '70s).
