I sure hope that I'm not the only New Waver who appreciates Mental As Anything's music? They were at the top of my list of favorites of New Wave artists from Australia, and still are, along with other top contenders from the time such as,the following.
Beatfish(Martin Plaza from The Mentals, and James Fraud from The Models)
Mi-Sex
Flash And The Pan
The Sports
The Reels
Jo Jo Zep And The Falcons
Hoodoo Gurus
Split Enz(Although not Australian, but from New Zealand, which is pretty close)
Kylie Minogue(she's more New Wave now than back in the 80's that's for sure)
The Models
Real Life
Divinyls

etc,I can go on and on.

Yes, the Aussie music scene was truly unbelievable...

In regards to MENTAL AS ANYTHING, I've been a huge fan since "Get Wet" came out over 25 years ago. I have all the Mentals CDs (up to their 2002 release, "Road Case") plus CDs from side projects inc
