Misex were a great new wave band although after Shanghied they went crap
their best album= Space Race-every track a classic and still not avail on cd on its own- it was released on 2003 as a double cd on 1 cd- with comouter games aling side for the ride- dont think 2 much of it- waste of $ buying it as its (the remastering>?) is crap
- time for a decent remaster

"What About Me" is their big song; it charted twice in the USA. Key members later formed 1927 with their song "That's When I Think Of You," and its even better b-side, "Alright."

I also dig "One Good Reason" by The Swingers, "Dream'N Away" by Phil Judd, and "Computer One" by Dear Enemy. Along with almost everything in this thread. Oh, and the Divinyls' first 2 albums are amazing.

Love Real Life, especially "Catch Me I'm Falling" and "Like A Gun," the incredible b-side to "Send Me An Angel."

Sorry about the delayed response ,Randy.
I bought some acetates from NY in 85,& the Bees' "Shake Up The Suburbs" was among them.I believe they had a good local following.

This was a good thread.Some great music came out of Australia & NZ in the late 70s & 80s.Varied music from both rural & city bands.

Wa Wa Nee - Stimulation... great tune, I never heard of this band before. And that girl in the video is very cute, is she part of the band?

and Koo Dee Tah - Too young to Promise.. also great synth track..and another strange and quirky name for a band [:D]

these 2 definitely are in my Aussie faves

.. they don't come much cheesier than Wa Wa Nee.. but glad you like them
