As a big Madness fan I had to post this. This version of the Scritti Politti's song was one of the first Madness songs I heard, 5 years ago and still is one of my favourites from the band. It features more instruments than the original and that makes it more entertaining (a few days ago I saw a recent video of SP playing this one live and I almost fell asleep). And while Madness had better videos, this one is pretty entertaining aswell, as Suggs looks delicious in it.

Here's the Pet Shop Boys cover of My Girl, the classic single by Madness, live in 2009. I first found out about this version while listning to my favourite local radio station, where it was played ocasionally. I like it, but not as much as the original, of course. It sounds a bit plastic compared to the original and Neil Tennant singing sbout a girl...dosen't sound sincere whereas Suggs boyish delivery convinsingly conveyed the sadness about having a fight with your girlfriend. It just looks like a Madness homage.
