Sad Lovers And Giants

Postby profpike » Wed May 22, 2013 3:15 pm

So I discovered a "new band" today and played them on my show. Sad Lovers and Giants. Knew nothing about them. I don't recall them being in my college radio stacks back in the day. Were they not distributed well? Why don't I know them?

"Colourless Dream" is their best. Go to youtube and give a listen. Classic "new wave" sound in that one. Moody synths slowly start the song, pulsing bass line comes in, echoey snare drum starts up, and then comes the guitar lick. Unbelievable guitar lick, I might add.

"Man Of Straw" is another top song from them. That one has a monster guitar riff in it.
