4!!! That's all you got? I bet if you hadn't bailed after Blue Peter, you'd have got 5.

BTW: The minute I heard one of the snippets, I immediately envisioned the guy in the wife-beater...weird what you remember.

Yes, very weird. But I'm not going to pass judgement.

Wow, I was busy at work and forgot to post the winner!!!

The winner is...SWERVE with a respectable 28 points! Special mention to rsgonzalez who scored well despite his admitted geographical challenges. Scwhenko was an epic fail and loses his honorary Canuck status. I disqualified '82 for cheating, because hey, I made up the game so I make the rules.

SWERVE wins a date with me! You could say it's a man-booby prize!

Here are the answers and video links.

1. Grapes of Wrath - Peace of Mind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YW1w5bewMH8 The start of a great run for this British Columbian band.

2. Northern Pikes - Teenland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPznPZLNQhI

3. Razorbacks - It's Saturday Night http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwtdWJWbVQs Hey, they performed on MAD TV so it can't be that obscure!

4. Martha and the Muffins - Paint By Number Heart http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ab0Nb5NpVsE No video?

5. Payola$ - Soldier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfCxqfMu7BM This is different from the version I have...I like this better

6. Blue Peter - Up To You https://soundcloud.com/blue-peter/14-up-to-you-96-mix

7. 54-40 - I Go Blind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMZSSVt355I Hootie had the foresight to cover this Vancouver band's original

8. DOA - Disco Sucks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXBkhbJshws Rare footage of our flag being burned during the 1978 Anti-Canada Day rally in Stanley Park...is it really any wonder we've had 2 Stanley Cup riots?

9. Rough Trade - High School Confidential http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFwom4D3i4g Is that Carole Pope or '82?

10. Idle Eyes - All Day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYiGtxQ0HEc That rickety roller coaster is still standing at the Vancouver PNE! God, this is almost as bad as a Parachute Club video!

11. Rush - Subdivisions http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAnsJJB6Qws What could be more Canadian than Rush?

12. Chalk Circle - This Mourning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XJGNNgRiuM They toured with Blue Peter about a year ago...that must have been a good show.

13. Spoons - Bridges Over Borders http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY7RDLbrkQs Wish the audio was better for this clip, posted by NWO's own dcappe

14. The Box - Carry On http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-oGpz8gj8o The Box was cool for two records and then they put out this really commercial album that ruined their legacy.

15. Teenage Head - It's Tearin' Me Apart http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgH6hBnrrYc Ontarians can be ALMOST as cool as Vancouverites.

16. Images In Vogue - Lust For Love http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBYtYFWXdm8 Video mix slightly different from the single.

17. Strange Advance - The Second That I Saw You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ox1Dptq2Zj8 Huh, no video for this either?

18. Malcolm Burn - Gravity Geez, I've got nothing for this one...I'll have to do Walk Don't Run instead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHxVeHYW2ww Thanks to eight 6 for turning me on to Malcolm Burn

19. Pukka Orchestra - Cherry Beach Express http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QfdHPoU300 Again, no video...no budgets for Canadian music?

20. Bundock - American Singer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0orx-IQrKg Yet there's a video fro this? Wow. I think this was supposed to be an ode to Jim Morrison

21. Gowan - Strange Animal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4eT_0tnj1w Finishing with a slice of cheese. Gowan now sings for Styx.

If you were finishing with cheese, it should have been Bundock. I almost choked when that came up.

I'm not sure, but I think you just called me a man.

And Chalk Circle were good when they played with Blue Peter a few years ago. Though I still can't get my head around Blue Peter being the opening band.

I listened to this once. Usually I can nail half of the songs on the first go through. I got 2 of them (one of them was Rush) and decided I'm not up on my Canadian groups. I doubt any of you could do any better with a NTT that included only Pittsburgh bands. Tempting... but I've too much on my plate.
