SOMA-FM Underground 80s

Postby wasproxy » Thu Nov 07, 2013 10:14 am

Hey All

Downloaded the Tunein Radio app and been listening to SomaFM "Underground 80s" the past few weeks. I liked Pandora and Sirius First Wave up until now but this one is VERY impressive. Free, no commercials, less repetition and I heard a TON of stuff I never heard before from our favorite bands of the 80s. A lot of Euro 80s too, stuff you would have only heard on WLIR on "Things from England" or "Off the Boat" back in the day. Recent plays include B-Movie's extended mix of Nowhere Girl, instrumental tracks from Book of Love, the long version of Computer Love from Kraftwerk...the list goes on and on and on.

I encourage eveyone on NWO to give it a try - I think you'd enjoy!!!

I've been listening to Soma's Underground 80's for some months now and I agree - it's a large bucket of awesome. It can get a little repetetive sometimes if you listen every day, but for a couple of times a week while doing stuff around the house - its sweet as a nut.

I've listened to FA for over a decade:

Expected to be close to 40,000 songs you can request by years end.

Nothing better.
