Im a Torontonian heading to Los Angeles from January 20 to January 24. What are the things I "have" to do? Viper room and Whiskey aside, because that's obvious. I've never been there...

Looks like a tough week on the calendar. I'd say The Troubadour is a must, but obviously only if anything's there. I like dropping into Barney's Beanery, where Morrison and Joplin would come down for their morning drinks and chili dogs. Amoeba Records for sure.

You're going to need a car/plan transport - LA/Hollywood isn't a walking city

Definitely go to The Rainbow, up the block from The Whiskey.
Odds are you'll come away being able to say you saw Lemmy.

Poo Bah Records on the east side of Pasadena, if you don't mind a thirty-minute drive from the Hollywood area.

Go check out Johnny and Dee Dee Ramones gravesites in Hollywood. Take a pic in front of the entrance to the old Masque. Go to Venice Beach for fun. The Huslter Store is always interesting. May run into Ron Jeremy there.
