just got this cd/dvd combo from thomas dolby:

it's sold from cdbaby on amazon, and other
places.

it is made in japan, and comes with an obi.

i haven't had a chance to listen or watch it yet.


have a lot to catch up on the holidays.

ok, watched the video.

it's very high quality, clear and well done.


it takes place in a small club, called the blue note.
the japanese crowd is very polite, quiet and subdued.



the audio is excellent, and its a good mix of old and
new songs.

he even sings 'fieldwork', which is great.

there are little introductions to each song, and he
mentions ryuichi sakamoto was critical to him playing
in japan. he had been there before, but had never
played live.

i haven't listened to the cd yet, but it's probably
the same tracks.
