The Smithsonian Channel is airing a documentary on Blondie, premiering Friday, March 21. Damn, I wish I got that channel.

on the Smithsonian website it lists a number of ways to watch this.
Luckily this channel is in the package that I subscribe to for exorbitant rates (recently increased even more). But it looks like you can watch on iPad, HULU etc
And it wouldn't surprise me if it eventually becomes available on DVD to but

Sugoi !!!

Just watched it. Excellent. Contemporary interviews (including Jimmy Destri, Frank Infante, Nigel Harrison, Mike Chapman, Bob Gruen, Glen O'Brien, Roberta Bayley) with classic performance footage.

You should have got a coupon at their sxsw show for a free Smithsonian episode download from itunes. This episode is what was playing on the tv's on the wall. It's what they were trying to promote I think..

I didn't realize at the time I posted the original message that I have 2 of those download cards. But yeah, those non-stop promos got me interested.
