Saw this question on another forum; thought I could tweak it a bit and make it work for New Wave artists.

Before the Great Flood wiped everything out, Noah brought a male and female of every species onto his ark in order to perpetuate the species. Well, you are allowed to bring a male new wave artist and a female new wave artist. Know that all future music on planet Earth will arise from them and their ancestors.
