What I've heard sounds great! While the single, "Can't Break Me Down”, sounds like 70s era ELO , the album’s opener, "Bitter Pill” shows that Idol can still bring it! Sample it here: https://soundcloud.com/das-roady/bitter-pill-official-billy-idol

After that Christmas album he did I was ready to give up on him, so the prospect of a new album gave me eye-rolls. But "Can't Break Me Down" was shockingly good IMO, and "Bitter Pill" is fantastic! ("Postcards From The Past" is a mere re-write of "Rebel Yell," however.)

Looking forward to hearing the whole thing...

(And to Steve Stevens: you're a great guitarist, but enough with the Keith Richards/Slash cigarette-dangle.)
