I'll be at The Wiltern tomorrow night- will post here on Monday! Apparently DJ Richard Blade will be "opening" the show. Although I suspect he'll be just pushing the play button when needed and may introduce the band.

BTW the concert will be streamed LIVE starting at 8:45 Pacific time.

Jan 25 @ 8:45 p.m. PT The Wiltern, Los Angeles, CA

Spandau sounded great last Sunday at The Wiltern. Could have used a little less low rumble as every time the kick drum reverberated it would bury some of the mix. Would have liked Tony Hadley's vocals to be a bit more our front as he hit every note!

Hadley remarked between songs at how surprised the band was by the enthusiastic reception they've received on this tour. They seemed to be enjoying themselves on stage. At one point, Hadley disappeared off stage and returned with a glass of Jack with which he happily toasted the crowd! There certainly was no shortage of people singing along with all the songs including "I'll Fly For You", "Only When You Leave", "True", "To Cut A Long Story Short", "Communication", "Lifeline" and the encore show closer, "Gold".

A buddy of mine who had seen them live years ago told me the show was even better than he expected!
