Nevergreens

Postby sunserious » Sun May 17, 2015 2:06 pm

Hey there!

I'm new member as of today, but I have been sneaking around here for ages. I'm doing a pod-ish radioshow called Nevergreens, which unfortunately (at least for most of you) is in Swedish, but I think the subject might appeal anyway.

I'm putting together show about an hour long consisting of obscure 80s band that never made it commercially but had that intent. Genrewise it's all over the place, the decade is the only thing framing it, I guess. But of course - new wave and synthpop is a big part of it.

Every episode comes in two parts, on with assorted "nevergreens" and one with a certain theme. Such as "unsuccessful follow-up singles", "unsuccessful solo efforts", "unsuccessful christmas" etc.

I'm not here to spam you about it, but if anyone cares to check it out, here's a link to the Soundcloud channel:
https://soundcloud.com/vladislav-bonita

and here's the blog:
http://nevergreens.blogspot.se/

Everything comes in '80s style radio' of course :)

BUT the reason why I started this thread is that I wonder if any of you have suggestions of band I can have on the show. Over 400 bands and artists played so far, and I wouldn't say I'm running out of gas yet, but still - I could need some new WOW discoveries :)
