Rare YMO documentary - can anyone identify it

Postby place » Sat Aug 01, 2015 6:37 pm

Does anyone know what this YMO documentary is and where it came from?

The stills are from a 47 minute clip that was once on Youtube but seems to be gone. I made a note that it was called "Explanation - Yukihiro Takahashi part 1", which was probably stated on the Youtube page but don't take this as a certainty.

It consists of excerpts from various YMO live concerts with one person talking over them in Japanese the whole time. The voice sounds more like a dvd commentary than a documentary narrator. The point is seems to be the narration rather than than showing you entire live songs start to finish. Also there are a few very short documentary-type clips interspersed.

It's from the Visual YMO: The Best DVD, with Yukihiro Takahashi's commentary track playing instead of the main audio track.
