List of New Romantic Bands?

Postby AndySandy » Sat Aug 13, 2016 7:13 am

I was noticing that there is no real cohesive list of bands involved in the new romantic movement. There are the obvious ones like Duran Duran, Landscape, and Visage, but then there are bands that had no connection and denied being new romantics such as Adam and the Ants and Japan. There are other bands that I am unsure of if they are new romantic or not, such as Ultravox.

What bands and artists do you think were part of the new romantic movement?

I think it has to do with the dressing. You know all those bizarre costumes and that stuff. For example Visage were dressing like that, so you can call them New Romantic. But you can't call Wang Chung like that. Even if their music style was similar.
