Shriekback US 2018 Tour Crowdfunded now on Kickstarter

Postby postpunkmonk » Tue Jan 23, 2018 9:16 am

Last year Shriekback in its almost full mid-80s lineup [Dave Allen on bass sat it out as he is an industry bigwig now - replaced by Scott Firth of PiL] returned into live performance for the first time in 30 years. I kicked in though I'm in The States. Now the US tour follow-through has been announced by the band. They need a lot more for their 8-piece band to cross the big pond… about $94,000. It began today here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1283576192/shriekback-live-in-the-us/comments
for those interested. I plan on kicking in what I can since I never saw Shriekback ever. They just didn't make their way into the US southeast then.
