Indeed, just quickly looking on Amazon , the number of Theatre of Hate compilations, and live albums that have been released seems very high. The band have reformed a couple of times- in 1991 and 1996. And also performed a few re-union concerts over the years. But not really sure how the new material compares to the band's original and most known era of 1980-1982.
Yes I appreciate that they aren't to everyone's taste. I just didn't take to Spear of Destiny, who rose from the demise of Theatre of Hate.

They had all the right elements, but they were always missing that 'certain something'. For me, probably has to do with their songwriting; just seems they were missing something there. But I did like their sound and approach.
I have the westworld lp and also a 16-track cd called 'the best of theatre of hate'. For a one album band, this one is hopefully titled ironically but I'm not sure!
