Welcome to the new forum!

Its uk garage meets lounge.....nice... blends well with thievery corps le monde and bela flor.....

Also..... Lemon Jelly's hit "soft" has a really catchy loop from Chicago's "if you leave me n

Yeah Knott's was where all the "cool" kids went!
I can remember following boys around for hours on end.....

Erase Errata will be playing Thursday, March 25 @ Bottom of the Hill, in SF. I am looking forward to this show.

I guess this will be a big warm up show before they go to the UK for a big roaddie.

I dig Ryan Adams, he fills that old Paul Westerberg/Replacements void (although Paul still makes records, so I'm not sure why I said void).

i just can't seem to get into starsailor. i'm not sure why.

don't they have a new single out? i thought i heard it in a record store and i thought i might like it.

because i am not aging i listen to new wave still i don't like too much of todays music except no doubt.

I can't stand about 99% of new music out there. But a few of the "newer" (not new) bands that I listen to are:

I saw Grandaddy tonight for the second time. I think 80s new wave fans will appreciate them cause they are basically a rock band but they incorporate some interesting electronics into their sound, and they treat melody like it is sacred. I highly recomm

I really agree with Ebbhead. My wife just bought the ep from Radio-4. Damn! That stuff is cool. Sounds like Gang of Four mixed with the Clash. Totally vintage and well worth listening too. "Dance to the Underground" makes a bunch of sense considering that

I agree with many of the selections here, My Favorite is one in particular that really stands out for fans for morose UK centric pop from the 80's. Romania is another one from the early 90's that replicated the new romantic sound perfectly.
