Mo-Dettes

Postby Frnk6794 » Mon Apr 26, 2004 10:57 am

I love the song "White Mice" by the Mo-Dettes, but I can't make out the lyrics to it for the life of me. And I've been able to find so little information on the band. Does anybody know the lyrics to this song?

Thanks,
Frank

I totally forgot about this band's existance until I saw this post. I used to have their "Paint It Black" 45, don't ask me what happened to it. [:D]

It's a shame there isn't more information available on them. They have some good songs aside from "White Mice" and "White Mouse Disco," like "Satisfy," "Fandango," "Masochistic Opposite," "Foolish Girl," and "Paint it Black" from their album "The Story S

Fanatstic band! It's funny that you mention it, because I have trouble with the lyrics to "White Mice" as well. I know that is most probably because the singer is Swiss. I can make out a few of the lyrics, but the rest leave me mystified. A really awesome

Yeah a good band (I've got all their stuff!) who featured June Miles-Kingston who surfaced on tracks by The Communards.

A clip of White Mice can be found at http://www.comnet.ca/~rina/modettes.html

I recall some of the lyrics to White Mice, it was basically about shagging toy-boy groupies. (I was like TOTALLY besotted with the singer at an impressionable age. Jesus, she'd be like 50+ now )

'I'm not dumb, I'm on the run
