Not only did the Punk/New Wave movement of the late 70's early 80's produced some cool music but also some cool names.

For Example
U2---Bono
The Police---Sting
The Sex Pistols---Sid Vicous
(Hey...ain't Sting and Sid Vicous wrestleing characters on big time wresteling on that red neck cable station that also doubles as home of the Atlanta Braves?)
X-Ray Spex---Poly Styrene (my personal favorite name)
X-Ray Spex---Jack Airport
The Damned---Captian Sensible
The Damned---Rat Scabies (very cool name)

Speaking of Ranking Rodger, Quick question: In the song from special beat service lp "Pato and Rodger a go Talk", That is a reference to Pato Banton right?

The tubes with lead singer Fee Waybill aka the "crippled Nazi" Dr. Strangekiss, country singer Hugh Heifer and Quay Lewd, a drug-addled British pop star. lol when i read this at allmusic.com. not to mention Prairie Prince and guitarist Bill Spooner.
