I put the KROQ lists in Microsoft Excel. I scrubbed the data. It can be filtered, sorted and searched. If anyone wants a copy I'd be happy to send it via email.

Did anybody else get the impression that the countdown lists seem quite different from their actual playlists? At least from my recollection, there were a lot more nifty new wave obscurities and less mainstream stuff being played as a percentage of airtim

How awesome is that! But you didn't score each song, average weight, then rank order list them? LOL <grin>

And Irvine Posse...is this my old Irvine CA stomping ground? Go Anteaters!

Yep, it's Irvine, CA.

I'm pretty sure if I mean-weight-rank-ordered all the songs by how well they did across the nation, they would still be in the same positions. The tastes of corporate radio are the same pretty much wherever you go...
