Well The Police needed Sting obviously, if he hadn't been in them it would have not been the same because of his lyrics. And I like some of Sting's solo stuff albeit the earlier stuff. I mean I'd say The Police are better but it's pretty obvious they were the first band I got into when I was a young kid so those songs were inbedded in my head...

Of course, The Ploice is better but Sting does not suck.
Listen to the early albums... not even those ones... listen to Brand New Day. Beautiful pop songs.
Sacred Love does suck. I really didn't like it.

Ahh... yeah.. Padovani. I think The Police could be such a good band cos they had Andy. Without Summers it wouldn't have been the same.
And without The Police, I wouldn't be here and liking New Wave. [:D]

I must say THE POLICE!!![8D] STING was better with the band than being solo. I remember watching STING LIVE in MANILA and he sang a lot of THE POLICE songs which really prove my choice.[;)]

But if you insist, i'll have to go with A.

[/quote]Well, it makes sense that Sting would play Police songs... he did write them after all.

It would be easier to vote if this were a poll. The Police are easily superior, but I do like some of Sting's solo output.
