Ok, in California there is this family that decorates their house to the nines. So much that people come from all over to see it. (there are houses like this in Brooklyn too) Anyway they do this every year and their neighbors across the street don't like it. The neighbors called police. The merry people agreed to help with some of the problems and hired private security to direct traffic. The Grinches got a petition and had people sign it from all over. Now the nice people would need a permit.
Now in true Phillyidol style... the nice family went along with their neighbors wishes. This year and every year to come, they will have only one display for the world to see. The nice father commissioned a $2,500 motorized Grinch statue which waves it's arms and emits steam as one song plays over and over.... your a mean one mr. Grinch! And the statue points directly at the neighbors house!
I really love this story!

Damn Philly, normally you and I are on the same page but I gotta go against you here. If any of my neighbors ever pulled that Grinch stunt on me, they would (at the very least) have a "suspicious" fire.

To tell you the truth, I wouldnt go that far either. But I would decorate my house twice as much and get the permits. Then add live actors to play the first christmas every night. Did you ever see Rosan? There was a show going along the same lines. I'm very lucky to have great neighbors and I am pretty well respected so the chances of this happening is pretty slim. But I do give this guy alot of credit.

Bughugs? Is this the toned-down-edited-for-family-friendly-viewing version of Bumfights? Talk about ruining the filmmaker's original artistic vision...
