I used soulseek a lot but since I'm on an 80's trip I've been abandoning that and using the NWO hub on Direct connect like most people here. Go to the thread about the hub http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3260 and get in there. Thers ia litterally just about anything you've ever dreamt of finding on there and its a lot better then Limewire and slsk.

PS I must add its bizarre that there are so many rooms on slsk and yet no New Wave hubs at all. It dosen't make any sense. The other genres are so better represented....

Simon had an obscure 80's room but it went the way of the DoDo about the same time his site was closed down. The hub seems to be a much better option anyway for those interested in acquiring files. Using Soulseek these days means you have to kiss somebody's ass (then get in line) to be allowed to D/L from them.

Hey Guys

Newbie here..
This topic is more than a year old already.
Sorry for bringing this up again.

Ive been using Limewire for 3 months now. But, I still haven't found
some New Wave list that I have in mind.

Anybody wants to fileshare?
darn, this is addicting...perspiring here and craving for more..

BTW..The hottest that I found was a song by The Sound called "Restless Time".

Got into this forum from a search engine by looking up for "Total Recall Lyrics" and got into "No Hit Wonders" topic. Yup, I agree. Its a nice song though, but I don't depend on the charts to get what I like to listen to..peace!

Join the "New Wave Outpost" room on soulseek. me and a handful of regulars are there. Just set it to auto-join, and you have some good leads on downloading music. Peak has been 8 users.
