Not yet, but there should be a CD coming out this year.

There's also some great video footage shot at Hurrah in 1979 by Eileen Polk (whose photos appear in the book PLEASE KILL ME).

Jimmy Destri and Student Teachers fans might be interested to know that the 1980 Destri produced "Marty Thau presents 2x5" compilation has just been released on CD by Sanctuary Records. This album includes the ST's classics "Looks" and "What I Can't Feel" from 1980.

The other bands on here are great too: Fleshtones, Revelons, Comateens and Bloodless Pharaohs (w/Stray Cat Brian Setzer on guitar).

You can get it from amazon.com here:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00097DXUI/

or if you're in the UK here:

Gotta admit, the CD release of the Marty Thau 2x5 is very disappointing - it was all done from vinyl and a noisy record to boot. My copy I had originally made from my own vinyl is better than the CD Sanctuary released. They should have had a big note on any website selling this that it was from a noisy vinyl LP.

Really? I didn't know that. I've only seen one review and it didn't mention anything about the sound quality.

It probably sounds better on vinyl anyway. Doesn't everything?!
