Scottish New Wave Funk

Postby joesee » Fri Feb 13, 2004 4:41 am

I'm trying remember the name of a band frpm Scotland. Three piece band. Bass player sang lead vocs. The only song I remember has the lyrics: "Why did it have to rain today. Why? I'd really like to know. This country's cursed with stormy weather and it's always cold."
Does this ring a bell with anyone???
Please email me if it does and you know their name @
joesee@optonline.net.
Thanks much.

I checked my APB CD "Something to Believe In" and it's definitely "Rainy Day" by APB.

Back in the '80's, I was driving thru Manhattan, & I noticed a stack of LP's in a clear sleeve w/no jacket on the curb for the trash.
Jumped out of the car & grabbed a handful to find they were all
