<<REM outside somewhere at Rutgers University while the sun was setting.>>

I saw that! Busch College, May 1985, with the Neats opening. Probably still the best concert I've ever seen, tied perhaps with Devo at Rutgers in 1981.

I recently calculated that I've seen between 1,200 and 1,500 concerts in my life. That's just absurd. Here are some of the bands I saw that are particuarly apropos to this board...

* Devo: Rutgers College Gym, 11/81
* PiL: Busch College Student Cent

The first concert I ever attended was the Alarm. It was during their 'Strength' tour in 1986 when I was 14. The Long Ryders opened for them.

Depeche Mode "The Singles" was the last concert I've seen (been a lil while).

The Alarm at CW Post college was a memorable concert for me (supporting their Declaration release). My older brother took me to that one.

I too have seen many a great show at least 1,000 concerts. But I'd say my most memorable was the Clash at the Palladium NYC, 1979. I found a link about it; http://www.gpjones.free-online.co.uk/Ba ... 20NYC/79-0
