THE MOOD - The Singles Collection

Postby DJ Phoenix » Tue Oct 14, 2008 4:31 pm

Ordered mine from the record store over a month ago...still haven't gotten it yet. (I have some credit I wanted to use to get it). I'm excited to get it, whenever that is. I ordered it from Zia Records here in Vegas.

I am glad I found this thread, The MOOD were one of my favourate synth pop bands. I nearly fell over when I read all their singles were going to be digitally remastered and released on CD.

I have just got my copy of the CD and I have to say the sound quality is absolutely Awesome. Great music great songs I just cant stop playing it.

Well done for putting this masterpiece together Scott.
I have also had a look at the new Mood.info website its got some great photos, videos and unreleased tracks on it.
I hope they might be available for release soon.

I really enjoyed the radio show. I was thrilled to hear the all of the positive feedback the guys had about my involvement in the project. That kind of response from the people who were actually involved in making the music is very rewarding. I hope the CD continues to sell and bring them well deserved attention.

I never heard of them.

But I am now very curious. What bands are they similar to?

<br>Maybe I am blind, but I can't find a writing credit for the text in the cd booklet. Scott, was this your work?
On page 3:
Does this mean that Jim Phelan wrote the liner notes?
It's strange that John Dalby has a writing credit for the original versions of some of the tracks and not for the same tracks when they were re-recorded, they're the same song, surely he had a writing input or he didn't.
