<br>I also ordered from Amazon.ca, and still waiting ... I wonder when they sent yours out. Mine was delayed because I screwed up on my credit card info. I'm expecting it to arrive next week sometime.

All , I got mine two days ago, I am in the UK and ordered it from Amazon CA. I must admit i was really shocked when i saw it on teh doorstep , was expecting it be at least two weeks
I have fairly good equipment and a good car system . To my ears all tracks sound great , it really is an excellent compilation
Just brilliant hearing some of these tracks again crystal clear

Seems like you get this faster if you are from across the Pacific Ocean. Glad you guys got it though, just anxiously waiting for mine. The US stores don't even have it in stock yet. Depending on the sales of this one, this will determine if there's an RA8 which I have a hunch will blow us all away. I hope a lot of people buy the cd.

Amazon.com just told me my order delivery date has been delayed until Oct. 22-26. WTF? I guess I'll cancel and re-order from Amazon.ca or directly from Hi-Bias.

Alex, can you tell us which retailer to order from to get it the fastest possible way? I'm in the USA. Does Hi-Bias get more profit from a direct sale off the website? Thanks!

Hi. All the feedback I am getting about Amazon.ca is amazing. They seem to be getting it out and to buyers superfast which is great!
I know if you buy from Hi-Bias direct, it will also be sent via Canada Post same day (unless its a weekend in which case it will ship on Monday)
A direct sale to Hi-Bias will bring some extra as it skips the distributor, but it's not a huge issue. Thanks for the support!

Atlantic. Amazon.ca ships from southern Ontario.

I'm in Vancouver, and Canada Post is slooow, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it takes longer for me to get it, since EU orders just have to deal with Canada Post getting it to the closest airport [:)]. Mind you, I'm getting the free (ground) shipping option, so I shouldn't complain.

We are collectors and we go through nervous breakdown waiting for cd's. A day feels like a year. [8D] By the way, it appears the US stores have received their shipment. Mine was on the way yesterday. I will have to mug the postman tomorrow.

The A-Ha track is epic.

The dead or alive track is just too catchy. (can't get it out of my mind)

So true! Volume 7 is my most anticipated release of the year. I ordered my copy from IdealCopy way back on 21 September. Still waiting. I hope that it comes soon!

Alex,

I did order it directly from Hi-Bias and just got mine today. I am so thrilled with this release. The sound is stellar and the track selection is PHENOMENAL. I am so grateful to you and everybody involved with getting this out to us. It was so worth waiting for. I so love the liner notes. You don't get such a thing with MP3s that's for sure. This series means the world to me because it truly is one of the last resources that chronicles and rescues lost new wave/dance rock 12-inch remixes. And to get the remixers input of what went into the tracks is brilliant. These guys are truly sonic architects/alchemists and their audio treasures deserve to be preserved for future generations. I applaud you Alex and Hi-Bias for pulling out all-the-stops to make this such a special and noteworthy release. Everyone involved with the New Wave Outpost should order a copy. (Please folks, buy it and keep the series continuing!)

Again, thanks for getting "Animal Magic" on here as well.

In gratitude,

Jeffrey

Hey Jeffrey,
Wow - thanks for the kind words and great feedback. It is very much appreciated. Have you joined our Facebook page? Many of the remixers and artists have joined and are active in discussions.

Heh heh, yeah, being in Canada, I really hate mail order for that reason. The country is just too big, with low population density. In Germany, you get your order the next day or two.

But I was actually quite surprised to have received the goodies on Monday. I forgot that they switched from using Canada Post to UPS.

I have to say that I was disappointed with the OMD Dreaming, William Orbit remix. I thought it would be epic, but I prefer the regular 12" version (UK 12", and not the shitty Bruce Forest remixes).

Not sure why people are ga-ga about Suffer the Children remix, but it is nice to finally have it on CD (I have the 12") to complete the collection.

So overall, I don't love this volume as much as some of you guys, or as much as previous volumes, but keep putting them out, and I'll keep buying them (twice!, in fact, as I've been buying these as a gift for a DE friend).

Hope to see more CanCon in the future, although I don't know if there's anything left that is suitable ... I know you don't want to keep putting the same artists on there all the time.

And I'm still waiting for the elusive Talk Talk Why Is It So Hard ...

got mine from idealcopy today.
nice clean, crisp sound as always.
was familiar with only a few of the artists, and even fewer of the titles, but that's one of the things i love about the series: it always introduces me to more.
you can never go wrong with DOA.
great to finally have belouis some.
loved revenge.
would really like to see more wang chung (don't be my enemy, wait, don't let go, etc).
very happy.
keep 'em coming!
how about making the next one a double?!!!

Just totally love RA7. Not a bad track on the whole cd, even the track from Wang Chung that I didn't think I would like, I am enjoying. Mastering sounds great, well done Alex. Favorite tracks are from Belouis Some, The Adventures, and The Danse Scoiety. Amazing it took this long for some of these long versions to finally make it on cd. Dead or Alive sounds amazing too. Looking forward to RA8.
