When I first heard of them (I think it was when Voices and Images was the current album), the dude said that they were like Depeche Mode. I guess in a way, they were, in that they had that bit of pipe banging.
FYI, the line "... between the world and their embarrassing pavement ...": 'pavement' is supposed to be 'poverty'. I don't know how they translated it to pavement. [:)]
