Two songs heard on KROQ HD2 station

Two songs heard on KROQ HD2 station

Postby oldnewwaver » Sun Mar 11, 2012 6:31 am

two songs I heard last week which were not identified on my digital radio station that i would like to know if some one can help identify the artist and track:

1) song has a catch phrase " gotcha where i want you" a number of time and i think the main lyric is "hold me up"
it has organ like synth sound and a male singer almost sung like Sting-reggae style

2) synth song that has the line I believe which is "Follow the Leader" as the main lyric throughout the song
pulse like synth sound throughout the song

if anyone has a clue, your help would be appreciated!!

I believe the other one you are trying to identify is a track called "Pressure Sway" by MACHINATIONS.

yes it was Pressure Sway by Machinations

have not heard that song in ages and remember the melody distinctly as a lost gem of the 80s!
