Name of Video-MTV 80s-takes place in a junkyard

Postby burrisplace » Mon May 07, 2012 5:04 am

Can anyone help indentify an music video aired on MTV during the early 80s? The video was shot in a junkyard; featured a car for part of it. The song was more of a pop rock song than synth pop. Cannot remember the song name or band. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks, but none of those. I think this video was out earlier than those suggested. More mainstream than Black Flag. More of pop rock than New Wave. Bankds like Naked Eyes, Jerry Rafferty, Eddie Money, Alan Parson Project come to mind, but I have looked on youtube, none of these are correct. The video was shown on MTV early in MTV history, so thinking '82, '83?

Krokus had some post-apocalyptic video where they were running around a junkyard in search of some tennis shoes.

Vintage thread!

Not early 80s, but the original video for Icehouse - Crazy takes place in sort of a junkyard.
