I've seen it both ways, which one is the "official" way to write the name?

Could you be serious just once?

Sorry OP, to answer your question:

I've only ever seen it as John 5. This my favorite of his ... the guy is amazing:

I remember an episode of 120 Minutes in which a viewer wrote in to ask Dave Kendall how 'The The' is pronounced: 'Is it 'The THE', 'THE The', 'THE THE'' etc. DK's response was 'It's however THE hell you want.'

Thanks. The thing that made me ask is that I received a postcard from Lisa Fedick in which the name was spelled with spaces.

Checking the liner notes, I see it is spelled Newjohnny5 therein.

Here's a pdf of the postcard I received and the part of the liner notes with the credits. (I blurred out part of Lisa's signature on the postcard as I did not want to place an image of her sig on the web.)

I also notice on the liner notes that the vinyl was mastered at Sterling Sound which helped bring the very high quality of the master tape to vinyl.

Thanks again, DJ Wave.

Just a short note... the location of that PDF has changed. Its new home is:

Enjoy!
