Received my GAOW CD yesterday (ordered TFE later) and it looks pretty good! Haven't had a chance to dig in to the sound yet, but I'm excited.

One complaint, though: there's a giant white square on the front of the booklet that talks about the DVD being region 0 (in German, no less). It looks like it should be a sticker, but it's part of the actual artwork! Very, very annoying and ugly. Be warned!

flip the booklet to page 8, the "galileo" set cover, and slip that in. then you've really got the first album cover! presto!

Can't agree enough - absolute vandalism - really, really spoils the effect.

why he signed off on this artwork is explained at his website, in the forum. it was just not worth the fight, and would have impeded the release of the cd, etc... it's a good read, check it out.

Another alternative to avoiding the spoiled cover is to use the booklet from the old CD (which also has more credits as to who played and where and when the songs were recorded).

I believe the mysterious free MP3 "puppettheatreAlt.mp3" is actually one of the two tracks he recorded for his publishing company Zomba (see CD booklet, Urban Tribal). Or maybe TD or some fan has explained it somewhere on TD's many pages?
