Help identify this 80s band... ?

Postby anfunny2003 » Wed Dec 27, 2017 10:35 am

Hi all

This Indians In Moscow photo triggered a half-memory in my head the other day...

Image

It made me recall a sleeve - could be album or single - for a band which I can't recall the name of. Basically, my memory is of a black and white image of a band of men, in suits or possibly tuxedos, surrounding a beautiful blonde female. They are either sat around a table or around a dressing room mirror. The woman has short, or slicked back hair, quite elegantly dressed and I've been thinking of band names like The Directors, The Film Makers, The Millionaires, etc. Something along those lines, although not actually any of those. If I recall correctly, the vocalist wasn't the female, so she was either a model for the sleeve only or it may have been a male/female vocal scenario. There was a video which was also a continuation of the sleeve... almost 1920s in style? I'd say they were an 80s band... but, like all the things I've brought up, a little bit of flexibility is permitted! New Wave, synth-pop, pop rock... perhaps even German or Dutch or from the USA. I don't think they're from the UK and they're no one too obvious like Propaganda, Missing Persons or anyone who had big hits. It's driving me NUTS! Hope someone knows what I'm talking about... or has some suggestions at least! Thanks for reading!

That is it! Amazing! Thank you so much. I was a bit off with my descriptions, but still, that is indeed the album cover. :D
