Jon St. James ‎– Trans-Atlantic. There is a 2017 Indonesian release. Not sure if this is legit or not or indeed a vinyl sourced disc.

The Hawaiian Pups ‎– Split Second Precision is still not on CD.

Two minds crack Victory Parade ( this may have come out in Germany)
the second fiction factory album (once again may have come out in Germany)

I think what noise CD must be unofficial where did you purchase from

If you look at discogs and the kissing the pink website (although slightly out of date) there is no reference of a CD version which is a shame

I know cherry red were thinking of doing it after Naked but perhaps naked did not sell the amount they were expecting

I think there are some quite professional bootlegs around of albums like two minds crack and Trevor Herions but they are not official

you often see some great CD compilations and albums coming from the Philippine's as they were (and are) very big on new wave but once again they are quite professionally made but not official (e.g the Seona Dancing singles )

SSQ - Playback
Secession - A Dark Enchantment ( would be a reissue - originals are scarce and $$$$$ second hand )

These 2 have been at the top of my list for years.

Thomas Leer - The Scale Of Ten

was the third on this short list until it received a CD release in 2004 from BMG which was a pleasant surprise.

Fiat Lux is always mentioned and would be nice as well. Hired History was a mini LP from them so you would want an expansion out from this as you would for any artist with original extended remixes etc...

Perhaps Rubellan will consider these 3 or is already looking into these.

There are many more but that is the short list.

It amazes me that SSQ cannot get a cd release since every wants it but Jon st James has his debut released. Drop in the grey is long overdue and hohokam and vision would make my century. Two people on cd would also be great

Strange name for a thread. All "big" New Wave albums are released and re-released and re-re-released on CD, there's no shortage of them. It "little" New Wave albums that are poorly represented. Some of those not already mentioned are:

Body Electric, an amazing New Zealand synth combo, really awaits a CD retrospective. Heartily recommend to seek their album "Presentation & Reality" for some of the best 1980s synthpop.

Greg Hawkes of The Cars' solo album "Niagara Falls" is long overdue.

A Blaze Colour, fantastic Belgian minimal synth duo.

And lots of albums re-released on LPs recently, especially in the field of minimal synth - CD versions would be very welcome, especially with corrected mistakes from the vinyl-only remasters (Experimental Products debut spring to mind with a couple of songs botched).
