Please Help ID Unknown Songs - MINIMAL/POST-PUNK

Postby malaria! » Sat Mar 03, 2018 6:23 am

greetings,

i have a couple of unknown sound snippets https://uploadfiles.io/5jrlb that i try to identify. i am sure you post punk experts know better than me and can unveil that mystery.

the first clip bears a resemblance to siouxsie and the banshees, but perhaps with a more tribal attitude. but there is also some electronic tunes to id.

so, in case you happen to know any of these, please drop me a line.

all the best

solved:

a - faith and the muse - all lovers lost
f - twice a man - coffins of snow

A is Faith and the Muse - All Lovers lost.
C sounds a lot like Consolidated to me

thank you @gilaro & @analoge mechanik!

regarding fatm, i knew i should have focused on 'modern' bands more often :)

love that track and its vibe - do you have some further recommendations in that direction?

keep them coming.

Yes somehow it reminded me of the sound in their 1992 track 'You suck' which featured The Yeastie Girlz on vocals.
