NAKED EYES (US LP Version) on CD

There are tools to measure and compare music files for "loudness" etcetera, maybe someone could do this. Btw I have never seen any CD that promotes "2018 Remaster" so much, so who knows...

Yes it’s also possible to check if the same masters was used.
The digital version of Burning Bridges is not remastered but they used the wrong versions for some tracks.

Thanks Omar. Think I might cancel my order.
Can you check Always Something There To Remind Me? Is it the version with drums at the start or without?

Amazon were a bit cheeky. I placed an order for the CD with a price of £5.99 but it now said out of stock. Now I see there is a new listing which is in stock but at a higher price. I complained and they are going to dispatch within 24 hours and they also gave me a £5 credit.

I never really liked Naked Eyes except for a few songs. Climie Fisher were better in my opinion.

Oh I am surprised. I think the opposite. I haven't heard the albums but Love Changes Everything is quite bland IMO. But I do like almost everything Naked Eyes did. They made simple but effective synthpop.

I've got both of CF's albums (the Edsel Reissues) and love all the songs especially the album cuts and b sides. i definitely liked the sophisti pop era of the late 80s.

It doesn't matter whether if they change the price after you ordered it was £5.99 and they give you a Pre-order Price Guarantee so they have to sell you it at that price. It's saying now that it's in stock but they still haven't dispatched mines yet in saying that i might cancel after hearing it's brickwalled.

I have not analysed it 100%.

discoginfo, I just torrented the entire 'Countdown' CD series.
This is the same version of "Always" as released on the 2012 'Burning Bridges' (church bells intro).

humanracer, as far as I can tell the only CD release of the radio edit of "(What) ITNOL" is on this 5-CD box set from Chile.

Fred Taghon made his own digital edit and I'm happy with that. Thanks, Fred!

What I'd like to know is if the original UK single edit of "Promises" (presumably an edit of the 'Burning Bridges' LP version) was ever on CD.
From the time of the track listing it might be on one of these compilations, both put out by Disky. Anyone have these, please?

I got my cd last Saturday. It is a digipak. Haven't listened to it though but it is available. The problem seems to be Amazon UK. They seem to be having a lot of trouble getting releases in on time these days.

Damn! I just ordered this yesterday, hoping that the "2018 remaster" meant they had reversed some of the horrible compressed mastering by Cherry Pop.
