Bad Boys Blue

Does anyone else in here like this band/act? They hardly ever get talked about or show up on anyone's list, probably cause they are an act, more than a band. They've had a ton of albums and the first 6 are just solid. They can best be described as The Pet Shop Boys meets Modern Talking with a touch of Reggae. They are a little cheesey at times but they just make great songs. My favourites include:

I Wanna Heart Your Heartbeat
Kisses & Tears
Come Back & Stay
A World Without You
Train To Nowhere
Jungle In My Heart
I Don't Know Her Name
I Need A Woman
Jenny Come Home
House Of Silence
Show Me The Way
and my all time favourite Hungry For Love

Late 80s dance club saccharine. Pleasant, weightless pop. My favorite is "I Totally Miss You".

Actually mid-80's and I Totally Miss You was from their 8th album which was one of their cheesiest. This was their first single released in America so a lot of people kind of missed out on the first six albums. 90% of the songs from these albums are 10 times better than I Totally Miss You. Check it out if you get the chance.

My favorit BBB albums are the first 3.... the ones that had the Jamaican guy Trevor Taylor singing... they're the Best! Some of the Greatest Disco Romance out there :)

"Hot Girls Bad Boys" 1985 - full of super disco classics
"Heartbeat" 1986
"Love is No Crime" 1987

The next 3 80's album by them are also good, but not as much for me personally:
"My Blue World" 1988
"Fifth" 1989
"Game of Love" 1990

And some of my favorite songs by BBB (there are many):

Mon Amie
I Wanna Hear you Heartbeat
Kisses and Tears (My one and only)
Gimme Gimme your loving
Charlene
You're a Woman
Pretty Young Girl
For Your Love
Kiss you all Over
Come Back and Stay
Lonely Weekend
A world Without You

.....And many others.

I like this group. Been listening to a lot of Eurodisco recently. It's easy to criticise it but you can't deny it's catchy.

By the way, I don't think BBB have done a bad album. Even their last one had some good tracks like Queen of My Dreams.

A lot of good stuff has come out by the Polish company Pokomy Music Solutions. Lots of Eurodisco stuff sourced from the master tapes.

Their new track, as yet unreleased, called Owner of My dreams is great.

I love their performance on Peter's Pop show..... love how the crowd is reacting, I would join that conga line any time for some Euro fun :)
