Aztec Camera, Fashion, Paul Haig, The Kane Gang, I Level, Blue Rondo à la Turk, Pigbag, Monyaka, Pete Shelley, Quando Quango, Was (Not Was), Defunkt, Chic, Gang Of Four ...

... finally some interesting artists from that era who deserve more attention than they got since.

Besides: wonder what happened with the 3CD Deluxe of the Fashion - Fabrique album from 1982. What a greatly produced album (Zeus B. Held). It was promised to be released this year.

Both the Fashion and Zee cds are ready to go and be reissued according to Dave Harris. Unfortunately a lot of legal stuff like royalties and distribution issues are keeping everything on hold. The Zee cd was supposed to be available this Xmas, but now highly unlikely. The Fashion 3cd deluxe is slated for a spring 2019 release. FINGERS CROSSED!!

omar thanks for the update, always enjoy your input.

According to Dave, the ZEE Facebook website talks about pre ordering the ZEE CD definitely before Christmas!
Would be cool after all this time. First there was talk of only one disc, but since this year it is supposed to be two
discs (Double Identity).

Hopefully we'll see that Fashion - Fabrique project soon after that!

Thanks. Actually the release will now be a single disc just like original version from 1984. According to Dave Harris , Rick Wright's family have requested the original format to be on the new version. Bonus material or remixes will be released separately.

I am unfamiliar with a lot of the tracks.

Would they be a mixture of new wave, pop and rock?

April Showers' "Abandon Ship" was a popular single in the Philippines. Very rare on digital format. It's on youtube if you like to hear it. Won't be sorry.

Bumping this up to say that, as of Nov. 7, 2019, Amazon UK has this 4-disc set selling for $19.22 — but only for a limited time.
