Just heard of his death from a heart attack. Does anyone know if he was working on new material?

That's sad news.
The Buzzcocks are the ultimate punk band.
They are the "Beatles" of the punk era.
Homosapien is a New Wave staple.

Finally some more people on this forum posting comments or sentiment regarding Pete Shelley's death.
If Pete Shelley had a rare/unreleased Japanese single, there would be 50 posts/comments about it by now.

No one even mentioned it when Dave Christenson of the Stabilizers passed away but there are 60 or more
posts about that elusive unreleased 2nd Album "Teasing Enrico".

I've come to the realization that several people on this forum have O.C.D.
and collecting "New Wave" music is a knee jerk reaction to the symptoms of O.C.D.

(P.S. Watch now several people will post a comment here "flaming" my comment. That's the other biggest reason why people make an effort to comment on this forum is to bitch about another member's comment or correct them)

I used to think people who listened to New Wave were more refined and sophisticated but this forum over the years has proven that "People are People"

In fairness the Stabilizers were closer to MOR/AOR than new wave, so I'm amazed anyone mentioned them here at all
