My repeated mantra is, there are tons of released and unreleased 70s/80s bands out there. New Order demos? Arrogant, superfluous and pathetic.

I dunno, you can find a copy of Republic for 3 bucks at any place that still sells used CDs and there weren't any great B-sides (and only a handful of good remixes) from the period, so I can't imagine a 2CD version would be worth it.

There are many remixes released around the same period (see The Rest of New Order CD), and most notably the song "1963" when it was released as a single in 1995. So why not? If I recall correctly Hook really disliked this album, so now that he's not part of the band anymore...I don't see why not?
