An Introduction To Dutch New Wave Vol. 29

Postby Rissan » Fri Apr 26, 2019 5:36 pm

It has been quiet on the Dutch New Wave compilations for over four months. In that period I bought some new vinyl and searched the internet for new additions for this new compilation.

Finally I can bring a new Volume to the open, mainly filled with New Wave and Synthpop. This compilation contains a synthpop number which was a huge hit in the Netherlands in 1986. Also I found an earlier The Dutch song, which was only available on a compilation from 1980.

The tracklist:

01. Two Supply - Hotel Supply (3:14)
02. Sukersaal - Drop Curtain (play) (3:55)
03. On/Off - Little Things (2:29)
04. Tool & Die - What I Had In Mind (3:59)
05. Swedisch Kok - Imagination Of Reality (5:36)
06. Rebel - Run (live) (2:54)
07. Te Clean - Eleanor (3:08)
08. Just Like Eddie - Hy Spy (3:21)
09. Brown Jenkin - The Final Case (3:34)
10. X-Ray - She's Gone (3:09)
11. The Two - Until Daylight (4:37)
12. Primitive Art - In The Eye (live) (3:53)
13. Richenel - Dance Around The World (4:45)
14. D'Men - Day By Day (3:51)
15. Spotlight Kids - We Go (live) (2:37)
16. Turf - Sorrento (3:31)
17. Buster Smiles - Modern Times (live) (2:43)
18. Supersonic Seasick Band - Little Woman (live) (2:43)
19. The Dutch - Better Than The Movies (3:08)
20. Spectral Display - Legendary (4:44)

The cover picture was made during this weeks holiday at Oterloo, in the patio of the Kröller Müller Museum at the Hoge Veluwe Park, which I visited this week.

Enjoy.
