Updated: Digital 80’s Volume 36

Hello all,

Thank you for your continued interest in this series!

Please read:

We’ve decided to add another volume to the series (see tracks below) however I want to make it clear that any of the bands/artists used in this series should be used as a means to discover or re-discover these brilliant tracks and encourage purchasing their material when readily available. By no means is the limited time download meant to take sales away from the artists.

Thank you

Paolo

That is an awesome tracklisting buddy. Thanks for the Nine Ways To Win. I love that track and this version of that track. Too bad it never made it onto any cd's.

Thanks to all who PM'd me and are enjoying the tracks. For those who enquired about the Secession "Michael" Remix, the track was remixed by the brilliant Chris Lord-Alge and the record also includes his "Dub Mix" which I will share down the road. To my knowledge, neither have ever appeared on any official / unofficial CD. I've attached a link to the original release note which surprisingly was still tucked inside the sleeve when I purchased the record!

Thanks

Paolo

Thank you for another volume! But I have a question - is there any particular reason to include the extended versions, not regular or 7" ones?

Pretty much keeps with the theme that we've had going since Volume 1. Occasionally there will be a short version that is better to our ears anyway than an extended or remixed version but not very often. You will have noticed since Volume 31 that we have expanded to 14 tracks on each volume as we are coming across more tracks that we've been adding that never had an extended or remixed version. I know for some an extended can drag but in all cases where we opted for the longer mix we felt it enhanced the track. :)
