I was going through my posts and much my to shame I never responded to the Mini Disc of this which I have. Unfortunately my MD Player failed to work so I was unable to provide a copy of it. I still believe my vinyl rip is way better than the quality of MD would have provided anyway.

Hello Rob,
I'm new here and I'm sorry to bother you with this, but can I ask for a reupload of the TV 2 single? I have the other single mixes on CD, but this one is hard to get now.

To make up for the trouble, maybe I can share a few live recordings of Elektric Music from their Virtual Summer tour in Sweden in 1994?
Here's what I have, sadly in mp3 format only, but they played a lot of unreleased tracks here that were planned for a second album that never happened.
Karl and Lothar had creative differences and stopped working together before the album was finished.

Thank you so much for the reup!

They are audience recordings. I know they are not great, but its a small wonder that anything from the Virtual Summer tour was preserved at all.

The lineup for the tour was:
Karl Bartos: keyboards and programming
Ralf Beck: keyboards and programming
Lothar Manteuffel: vocals, keyboards and programming
Emil Schult: visuals

The Arvika show sounds decent enough to be enjoyable and the unreleased tracks make it interesting. The first two tracks ("Joy" and "Bombast") ended up on Karl Bartos' solo album "Off The Record" in 2013. Under the names "The Binary Code" and "Musica Ex Machina".

Arvika was taped by Paul Wilkinson, he was a contributor to the Aktivität Kraftwerk fanzine in the 90s, I don't know what equipment he used or who taped the other show. This was all years ago and the recordings came without any additional information.

I thought it would be worth sharing them as the only way to get them previously was via slsk and because I didn't want to just show up here and ask for a reupload without offering some kind of thanks.

Wilkinson wrote a review of the shows in the fanzine which is worth a read: http://www.keepwerking.co.uk/aktivitat/akt06/#24
