Digital 80's Vol. 51 - 53 The Final Chapter!!! March 30th

Hello all,

I wanted to let everyone know that I will be posting the links to the final three volumes (51, 52 & 53) in the Digital 80’s series on March 30th which would have been Dave’s 53rd birthday! I think ending the series at volume 53 is a fitting tribute to honor Dave! I wish I could have continued but sadly I just don’t have the time. To date, a total of 711 tracks were used to create this series and make it truly special!

It has been an awesome journey and we met so many great people along the way who are just as passionate about the 80s as Dave and I ARE!!! I hope this series and others posted on this group can spark some interest with Record Labels and Bands to look into re-issuing their back-catalogues when possible because there’s still a great following and demand!

A very special thank you to Julio “AJWAVE” for giving up his time to create all the custom artwork and include all the track info for this series! Job well done! The artwork for the final three volumes will also be made available once completed!

Lastly, many have asked how and why I came up with the name Gazebo Music? Long story short, “I Like Chopin” by Gazebo has always been my favorite song from the 80s! I also had an 80s cd mail-order business under the same name many years ago and is how I actually met Dave!

With that said, I have decided the final track in the series will be a rare Extended 1984 Japanese cover version of “I Like Chopin” by Asami Kobayashi. Normally I wouldn’t add a cover version, but this guilty pleasure was just too interesting to leave out!

PS: Please, this in NO way is to take away sales from any of the artists included here but rather a way to discover or rediscover these timeless masterpieces as many of them have never officially appeared on CD or are long "Out Of Print". Please support these bands if they should have material available! They deserve all the credit!
