I too prefer Magnets over the debut, and this sounds like it will be a great album #3. I will be buying the CD+LP package.
Last year I made contact with RTI, who currently own The Vapors back catalog, as I wanted to do new CD reissues correcting some of the mistakes from the first CD's. We only exchanged a couple of messages and nothing came of it. I may try to revisit once things quiet down.
