Hello all,

I hope you are doing well! I was cleaning up some loose ends and came across a folder that included tracks I would have loved to use on the Digital 80's collection but sadly these were either early home demos, live recordings, never released or masters from old cassettes and the sound was just too poor. Regardless of where they came from, I still think they deserve a listen and a place here on NWO! So, for the completest and the curious, here is a set titled "Digital 80's (The Tracks That Didn't Make It)".

12'' From Heaven - Hold On 456 (85)
Directions East - Room Full Of Tears 507 (83)
Discipline - Borderline 311 (84)
Missing In Action - Urban Sunset 422 (84)
Ninth Arena - The Room 429 (87)
Scary Thieves - The Waiting Game (Demo) 424 (84)
Secession - Every Single Day (Demo) 544 (84)
Soviet - Modern Love 345 (89)
Vicious Circle - Sorry 342 (84)
Vicious Pink - Je Taime (Live At Hammersmith Palace Dec 1982) 547 (82)
Video Brothers - Inside 452 (88)
Voice Of America - Story Of Love (Instrumental) 427 (87)
Wadi Vision - Forwards Backwards 255 (83)

Enjoy

This is like when you watched a great movie and ready to leave the theatre and then some added scenes come on that you absolutely love. :) Thanks Paul. Amazing stuff!

Thanks guys, glad you find them as interesting as I did. I may have enough tracks remaining to do a second set. Keep you posted.

Take care

Thanks, Paul.

Do you have any info on the origins of the Secession track - Every Single Day?
It seems to come from their spell at Beggars Banquet, but I've not heard this one before.

Cheers!

Hello Jon,

Thanks for reaching out! I’ve had these Secession Demos for a few years now. There are approximately 11 demos total that were not featured on the most recent Peter Thomson release. All the demos were from old cassettes which were located by one of the band members and others close to the band. Some of the tracks have no titles and were just listed as Demo 1, 2 etc. I will be posting all of them shortly on NWO keeping the Secession spirit alive!!!

Take care
